Susan and I just saw the new outdoor igloos at Palm Valley Outdoors, and they are such a great idea. You still get the Intercoastal views, the relaxing vibe, and all the great food, but you can stay warm and comfortable while you enjoy dinner. If you're looking for a perfect spot for date night or a night out with friends, this is one of those places that checks every box, great food, great location, incredible views, and no freezing at the table.

Susan and I have been dining at Palm Valley Outdoors Bar and Grill for several years, and it remains one of our favorite waterfront restaurants in the area. This is the kind of place that works just as well for a relaxed afternoon stop as it does for a planned dinner with friends or family. The setting is fantastic. Located directly on the Intracoastal Waterway, Palm Valley Outdoors offers beautiful views and a true Florida waterfront vibe. You can arrive by boat, tie up at the dock, and walk right in, which immediately sets it apart. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and lively without ever feeling overwhelming. What really impresses us is the consistency. No matter how busy the restaurant is, the experience remains strong. Live music nights and game days are handled smoothly, and the staff keeps everything moving without sacrificing service. The menu is extensive and thoughtfully put together. Over the years, we have tried a wide range of dishes, and everything has been consistently well prepared. On our most recent visit, we started with fried gator tail and grilled oysters with garlic butter, both of which were excellent. The lobster bisque was rich and comforting, and adding a splash of sherry made it even better. Susan ordered the lobster ravioli, which immediately earned our Culinary Duo Best of the Best award. It was loaded with lobster, beautifully balanced, and one of the best versions of this dish we have had anywhere. I ordered the blackened wahoo dinner special topped with mango salsa, and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Dessert is not optional here. The chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich served warm in a cast-iron skillet also earned our Best of the Best award. It is one of those desserts you talk about long after the meal is over. Service is another strong point. Even on busy nights, the team works together seamlessly. Drinks stay filled, food arrives hot, and plates are cleared promptly. You can tell there is pride behind what they do. Palm Valley Outdoors offers generous portions, strong value, and a complete dining experience. Whether you are visiting for the first time or returning again and again, this is a restaurant that delivers every time and one we are always happy to recommend.

A nice quiet night with live music on the intercoastal, a great way to spend an evening with great company! Our waiter Chris was very attentive, checking in on us frequently to ensure we all had what we needed. He brought out our food promptly and the coconut shrimp was delicious. Will be returning soon!
